Since 1988, the Irish Mathematical Olympiad is an annual event for secondary school students throughout Ireland. The contest is meant to stimulate logical thinking, problem solving skills and creativity. This Olympiad begins with Round 1, which is designed for any and all interested students in second level schools in Ireland.

During the first week of November, your school should receive a letter with instructions on how to conduct this contest in your school. If you did not receive this information by Monday, 13 November 2017, please contact us at irishmathsolympiad@gmail.com

This year, Round 1 is scheduled to take place during 13–17 November in all second level schools in Ireland.

For more information, see http://www.irmo.ie/Round-1.html.
