The Irish Mathematical Trust is a registered charity with Charities Regulator Number 20080297.

The Irish Mathematical Trust (IMT) was established as a charity in 2012 to enrich and enhance mathematical education in Ireland through the delivery of a national mathematics enrichment programme. It became registered for the purposes of the Charitable Donation Scheme in 2014. Its main activities are to organise and run mathematical competitions, to provide enrichment classes in mathematics, to publish material on mathematical topics, to provide support for mathematics teachers who wish to engage in extra-curricular mathematical activities, and to enable and support participation of an Irish team in the International Mathematical Olympiad.
